"Fantastic weekend in a gorgeous setting in The Lake District.
As a lone traveller I was apprehensive but needn’t have worried as Nikki was a lovely, welcoming and knowledgeable teacher who made Yoga accessible for everyone. The walks led by Mark and Jim were great . The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. I would definitely recommend it and hope to go again."

"Truly wonderful yoga and hiking retreat in the Lake District. The retreat center was gorgeous and very special with a lovely staff, delicious food, and very comfortable lodging. The yoga teacher, Nikki, was fabulous — all of our sessions were beautifully led and we were held with such care and competence, I wish I could take her classes daily. And the hikes were great, especially Emma’s. Would recommend this retreat to everyone and am confident you’ll feel restored. Thank you!"

"It was in a lovely setting and the accommodation was comfortable, warm, and beautiful. The yoga instructor was patient during class and attentive outside of class to help us feel welcome and comfortable. The hikes were fab and right out of the front door, and you made a great choice of hiking instructor!"

"Had the most fabulous week of walking and yoga combined with fabulous food and delightful company in the Lake District. Relaxed but professionally organised. I couldn’t fault it. Can’t wait to go again."

"This has gone to number one in my retreat experiences - best yoga teaching I’ve ever experienced (as a relative beginner I never thought I’d ever be able to do a 2 hour class). The group bonded well and it was lovely to make new friends. The venue was in a stunning location in the Lake District with pretty gardens."

"Another fabulous Adventure Yogi --- adventure! Fantastic, peaceful location, delicious food, the perfect balance of walks and yoga(s), incredible weather and really lovely company. The teaching was inspiring and the organisation was faultless. My second trip - planning to make it a hat trick the first chance I get!"

What is the accommodation?
It is a vegetarian/vegan B&B that has a selection of hotel style en-suite rooms in the main building and then in separate out buildings in the grounds.
Do I need to bring a yoga mat?
Yes, you do. As it is not a designated yoga venue they do not provide equipment. Please bring what you may need for your practice
How hard are the hikes?
The Lake District is a much more intermediate hiking area and so we suggest the hiking level being of intermediate level and good level of fitness.
Do I need hikings boot and gear?
Yes - hiking boots (that aren't new) are a must and also wet wand warm weather gear; waterproof trousers and jacket, a water bottle, hat, suncream, warm layers and smaller layers like a t-shirt so you can manage getting hotter as you go up and cooler as you go down. A backpack to put it all in.
How do I get there?
You can come by train to Lake Windermere train station - 4 hours from London and then a taxi which is about 20 minutes from the venue.
