Charlotte Hopson

Charlotte, the founder of Oat Kitchen, specialises in hearty and visually impactful food for retreats and wellness events around the world. She believes that food is an integral part of a retreat and works hard to ensure that guests are fuelled with nutritionally balanced, high-vibrational food made with love. She is an advocate of seasonal, sustainable, plant-based living, and actively promotes wellness using Ayurvedic principles, self-care practices, movement, and meditation. As a Pilates, Yoga teacher, and Chef she believes that with a balanced approach to exercise, eating well, and making more mindful choices about how and what we consume, we can live a more nurturing, self-supporting, and planet-friendly lifestyle.

Charlotte’s motivation is to share her passion for seasonal, plant-based ingredients and encourages guests to use their time on retreat to reconnect with their relationship to food. She often hosts morning or bedtime rituals to highlight the power and energetic qualities found in certain ingredients. You may even get to enjoy one of her fabulous workshops or demonstrations such as foraging, natural remedies, or fermenting! Under Charlotte’s guidance, you will leave your retreat with principles you can apply to daily life to feel equipped to exmplore a simplified, intuitive and planet-friendly lifestyle at home.
