7 Nights Walking Wellness Yoga Holiday in Sardinia, Italy
Come and enjoy our 7-night Walking Wellness Yoga Holiday in Sardinia in 2025, for a week of sunshine and exploring the north coast. Start your mornings with yoga, enjoy a selection of scenic guided walks and spend time relaxing around the pool or on the beach before winding down with yoga in the evening. Experience the beauty of the white sandy beaches and turquoise waters that Sardinia is famous for. This yoga holiday is for those looking for the time to re-charge from their day to day lives in a secluded Sardinia villa.
Escape to the beauty of northern Sardinia for our relaxing 7-night yoga holiday, where you can immerse yourself in nature and the peaceful countryside setting surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea. Each morning, you will awaken with an energising yoga practice of vinyasa and hatha flow styles. As the day unfolds, you can enjoy gentle walks along the coastlines, reading your book by the pool or swimming in the turquoise sea. In the evening, enjoy a slower practice of yin and restorative yoga, allowing your body and mind to relax fully, meaning you can return home feeling like you have had a reset.
Your venue on our Sardinia yoga retreat is tucked away in a peaceful estate next to the sea, situated near the typical Sardinian small town of Santa Teresa di Gallura. The venue consists of two charming villas overlooking the sea, offering breathtaking views stretching to Corsica. With a private pool, sunny panoramic terraces, and shaded outdoor spaces, this remote villa invites you to relax fully and rejuvenate. Surrounded by nature and away from the business of daily life, this is your chance to slow down and feel refreshed and recharged.
Our yoga holiday in Sardinia offers a selection of guided walks and activities, allowing you to explore the north of Sardinia at your own pace. Join a scenic walk to the beachside town of Vignola Mare to dip your toes in the sea and enjoy an ice cream. On another day, we offer a transfer in the opposite direction, allowing you to explore the coastline of Badesi, where you can unwind on the beach or try out some water sports. A highlight is a visit to the infamous Capo Testa and Valle della Luna near Santa Teresa – a spiritual spot on the north coast.
On this yoga holiday, we place all of our included activities near the beginning of the week, leaving the final days free for you to do as you please. We can help arrange additional excursions, including a breathtaking boat trip around the Maddalena Archipelago, famous for its turquoise waters and beaches, or a visit to the shores of Porto Pollo, where you’ll find beach cafes, sunbeds, and watersports. If you’re looking to visit more peaceful beaches, there are a lot of beaches between the villa and Santa Teresa. These beaches are remote and surrounded by nature, so make sure you bring a hat and sun cream as they don’t have sunbeds or shade. We can help you arrange taxis to the above destinations, or we suggest you hire a car together to explore these final free days to get the most out of your Sardinia experience.
The food on this yoga retreat is locally sourced vegetarian meals prepared by our Sardinian chef, with options for vegan and other dietary preferences. Wake up to a delicious breakfast, enjoy a leisurely brunch, and end the day with a nourishing evening meal. Our Sardinia yoga holiday in September is one of the best times to visit Sardinia as the crowds that pack the beaches in July and August have gone home, the beaches are quiet, and the weather remains sunny but not too hot – making it ideal for both relaxation and activities.
The yoga is enjoyed outdoors on the terrace with sea views.

Accommodation in Sardinia
Our venue partner for our Sardinia yoga holidays is two connected private villas situated in a private estate of villas next to the Mediterranean Sea on the north coast of Sardinia. They are charming, with typical Sardinian decor inside, and offer a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The villas have sea views and beautiful sunsets. The garden and patio areas offer shade for reading, while the freshwater pool area is a wonderful place to sunbathe. With the closest beach only 150m from the villa, you have access here and then you can walk along the coastline to wider, more pristine beaches. NB. In Sardinia, nature tends to pile up seaweed along its coastline, but once you step over it, you are in the turquoise waters!
The two private villas have nine bedrooms, split between two villas and a guest house. Four of these rooms are twin-sharing rooms, with two having an en-suite bathroom and two having a shared bathroom. Then, there are five single-occupancy double rooms with either a shared bathroom or a private en-suite bathroom. Two of the double rooms have their own terrace with sea views. There is a lounge area, an outside dining area, and plenty of outside spaces to enjoy a good book and a well-deserved rest.
This peaceful venue allows you to lounge by the pool, explore the beach and practice yoga on the shaded terrace.
To experience this part of Sardinia, the only option is to stay in a private villa. We have put together an itinerary which allows you to discover some of the gems of this part of the Island, alongside recommendations of other areas to enhance your stay. It is a special corner and we recommend hiring a car or booking taxis to see some of our recommended places.
About the Yoga

Sustainability
We are working towards reducing our carbon footprint, and here are some ways we, as a company, are doing this.
- We are an 88% vegan company, 10% vegetarian and 2% fish or meat (only when staying in boutique hotels that offer these options). This makes up a huge percentage of carbon emissions that we easily avoid because our food is still delicious, balanced and creative. So, thanks to you all for enjoying our healthy (mostly) plant-based meals.
The difference: Most travel companies find it hard to encourage their travellers to reduce their meat and dairy consumption, which accounts for a large portion of their carbon emissions.
- We stay primarily in one location for the duration of the retreat. We have started staying in a few locations on our long haul, but it is limited to 2 or 3 locations over an 8 – 10 night period. Staying in one place means low carbon emissions because we aren’t burning fuel to get around.
The difference: Other adventure travel companies move around every two days, using alot of petrol in vehicles for sometimes only 1 or 2 people.
- Our activities are low-impact—yoga, hiking, surfing, skiing/boarding, whitewater rafting, SUP, and kayaking are all very low-carbon activities, in fact, zero-carbon (except skiing/snowboarding due to the ski lifts, which is also low). These activities are included in the price we measure. The carbon may increase with travel to and from these activities in vehicles.
The difference: Other travel companies can include high-carbon activities in the price, such as jet skiing, quad biking, and jeep driving, which increases their carbon footprint.
- We run more than half of our retreats and holidays in the UK; these are very low-carbon holidays.
We currently don’t measure our guests’ travel as part of our carbon output because our guests don’t only come from the UK, so it is hard for us to predict this. We also don’t include travel in the holiday price, which is not part of our calculations. We know that we provide these holidays, so we are looking to include this carbon measurement in the future so we are investigating how we can reduce this.
The carbon measurements at the top of the page with the icons are per person for the whole retreat.
Ultra-low-carbon holidays
These holidays are below 200 kg per person, and our UK retreats are below 100 or even 70 kg, so these are great adventures for low carbon breaks.
Ski holidays are actually low in carbon!
In France, many ski resorts are turning to green energy to power the lifts. If you eat low in meat and dairy while you’re there and hire your ski equipment, this makes your trip as low-carbon as possible.
How can you help?
There are ways that you can help reduce your carbon when coming on our retreats and holidays:
- Travel by train, try slow travel across Europe and the UK.
- If travelling abroad to Europe or further afield, choose carbon capture schemes, check out Ecologi. Offsetting is not the best thing to do these days, but try carbon capture where you pay for carbon to be absorbed into the environment.
- Car share UK – we recommend when guests travel by train to arrive and depart at the same time to taxi share – which helps keep costs and carbon emissions down. Why not consider car share, too? Most guests who drive come alone or with a friend; we have WhatsApp groups that, if you like, you can see who is driving from your area and enjoy getting to know each other on the way to the retreats, and save on your carbon emissions at the same time!
We are by no means saints when it comes to producing carbon, as a travel company we know this is very difficult to reduce. We are working to reduce our carbon output each year by measuring it and then creating plans to reduce it. We are reviewing all our venues and asking them how they can improve their carbon reduction as we don’t own any of our venues but we would like to work with them to help in any way we can. We want to be transparent with this, so please get in touch for more information. As we change things, we will update the website.
Reviews
Beautiful Italy
Our Italy yoga retreats feel different to the likes of other European countries. It is famed for its beauty, history, culture and amazing food but what isn’t so well known is its beautiful landscapes and variety of landscapes, from the Dolomite mountain range in the north to the Tuscan hills in the middle and south and beautiful beaches all along both sides of the boot.
Our yoga retreats in Italy this year are in Puglia which is known for it’s beautiful coastline, charming towns and of course the beautiful trullis.
We are so excited to be providing a leading yoga holiday in Italy at our Puglia location.
